Comfort Suites Downtown, Orlando

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were nice and clean, easily accessible to the parks and I-Drive, and beautifully decorated. However, there was an issue with the thermostat that made the room go from warm to cold when adjusting. The service was exceptional; the staff were friendly and helpful, especially during a difficult hospital stay for my family. The location was perfect for me, walking distance from Orlando Florida Hospital, but a bit crowded at times. The dining experience was pretty good overall, with the normal offerings you'd expect, suitable for starting the day without spending extra money. The facilities were good, and the hotel always seemed well stocked despite being busy.

The hotel looked perfect when we returned, but it cost almost $200 for one night. We kindly asked them multiple times to keep the noise down due to our 2-year-old being disturbed, but they ignored us. Despite this, the location is ideal for visiting Universal Studios or Wet n Wild.

The hotel is conveniently located near Florida Hospital Orlando and other downtown venues, offering a central spot for healthcare, shopping, and sightseeing. The rooms are spacious and come equipped with a pull-out sofa sleeper, fridge, coffee maker, and microwave, making them ideal for families looking to save money while traveling. Although the dining experience was superb with a variety of options including fresh waffles, there were minor issues like the small dining area on weekends. The location is central and near everything one might need, but there were disappointments with the unhelpful reception and the delay in service from a third party. Overall, it's a convenient choice for those looking to explore the area.
