This hotel is a mix of pros and cons. The rooms, despite being located next to the parking structure and partially obstructed by palm trees, are worth the stay with a moderately revamped old motel feel. On the downside, there are some issues in terms of safety and privacy.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was great, close to downtown and Old Town, which was convenient. However, the rooms were not clean as I found a sock on the floor from a previous guest and had issues with the drains being plugged. Despite these setbacks, I enjoyed the proximity to freeways and beaches, which was a plus.

The rooms were not as clean as expected, with a sock left on the floor and drainage problems in the sink and shower. There was even blood on the carpet, which was concerning. The room condition was below par, but the location made up for some of these issues.

The service was lackluster and disappointing. The staff would pick up dirty towels and clean the room, but they didn't leave any clean supplies behind. There was also a concerning issue of staff walking into rooms without warning, which made me feel uneasy and led to a lack of privacy. Additionally, the attitude towards guest inquiries, such as laundromats in the area, was not helpful.

The location of the hotel was a mix of good and confusing aspects. It was nice being near downtown and Old Town, and the cleanliness and newness of the surroundings were appreciated. However, there was confusion due to the proximity of two Doubletree Hotels on either side of the 8 FWY. Better descriptions or warnings would have been helpful. The proximity to freeways and beaches was a definite plus.

I was thrilled to find this hotel in an amazing location, close to the beach and surrounded by great dining options. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. However, I wished there were more breakfast choices available. The pool area was well-kept and a lovely spot to relax. The pricing was fair, but it would have been better if the Wi-Fi was included.
