Staying in a basement room, while clean and excellent value, felt damp. Privacy on the street level could be improved with net curtains or frosted glass. The service was initially unfriendly but improved the next day. The location is in a nice student area with convenient access to the subway and attractions.

For a five-night stay, the hotel was fine for what we paid. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well presented, though they tended to be extremely hot with windows apparently not opening. The service was excellent and very friendly, making the location great for getting around the city. The hotel is strategically placed in the heart of the city near cafes, bars, and shops. The absence of breakfast was noted for being a missed welcoming touch. Overall, the hotel provides good value for money.

The hotel offers very clean and quiet rooms with private bathrooms in a great neighborhood just 10 minutes by train to central Glasgow. The service is a mix of hostile and friendly, located just off the Great Western Road in the West End. The location is very convenient for traveling into the city but a bit tricky as it is far from the city center, with a nice bar/pub nearby. Dining options are lacking, especially without breakfast. Overall, the hotel provides good value for money with some minor drawbacks.
