My stay at the Embassy Suites was a last-minute booking. The room smelled of cigarette smoke but was fairly quiet with an easy-to-operate wall thermostat retrofit. The Hampton/Burlingame was chosen for its proximity to the Airport and lived up to its comfort, clean rooms, and friendly staff. The service was very helpful, but they overlooked our trunk being open without notifying us. I appreciated the dry cleaning service and the free airport shuttle.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, but the location directly overlooking a demolition site was not what I had hoped for. Getting downtown without traffic was convenient, though. The rooms were spacious enough for two friends traveling together.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's spacious and recently updated rooms, offering a kind of sea view. The charging outlets for electrical devices were abundant, making it convenient for all my gadgets. However, there were some issues with the overwhelming odor in the hallways and room, and an unexpected extra charge request of $50 for the same room.

The hotel's location in Burlingame just south of SFO was fantastic, especially for travelers needing quick airport access. The proximity to the bay for jogging and relaxation was a nice bonus. However, the airplane noises were a downside.

The dining options were limited, and the advertisement didn't match our experience. We couldn't enjoy the muffin due to an early flight, so that was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, the risotto was among the best I've had at any hotel.
