Upon entering my room, I found it to be well-insulated, providing a quiet sanctuary from the noise outside. However, the room was in serious need of updating and a bit dimly lit. The service ranged from pleasant to almost unwelcoming, but overall satisfactory. The location was semi-convenient, near eateries and shopping, although the building's exterior appeared rundown. The dining options could use more variety, and the juice machine didn't dispense the correct mixture. Despite the shortcomings, the free parking was convenient.

The location had its ups and downs, being close to the Highway without the noise, minutes away from various restaurants, shopping options, and direct access to New York City. The dining experience was not memorable, lacking variety and quality. Overall, the facilities met expectations.

My stay at the hotel served its purpose as a cheapish place to stay while taking my son to West Point. The room matched our needs, but it lacked soundproofing, so we could hear cars passing by all night. The location was comfortable with very good food at Union Square Diner adjacent to the hotel. However, the outside of the building looked sketchy and in disrepair. The dining experience was decent with a few choices, but it cut off sharply at 9:30 with no exceptions.
