The hotel is conveniently located right on top of the main pedestrianized street, within a short walk to the center of the city. The rooms, although lacking a window, were clean and comfortable, despite feeling a bit damp - a common occurrence in Costa Rica. The dining options were limited but satisfactory, and the overall value for money was decent considering the central downtown location.
Rooms
7.0
My room had no window but was clean and comfortable, though it did feel a little damp, which I've noticed is quite common during travels in Costa Rica.
Service
8.0
The staff provided good service, and the room service was efficient.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is very convenient, right on top of the main pedestrianized street and close to the Atlantico Norte and airport bus station. However, it could use a thorough wash to improve its appearance.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were limited to eggs or a sandwich, served until 10 AM. The breakfast was okay but could offer more variety.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel has basic facilities, but they could be improved to enhance the overall guest experience.

The hotel felt very private and quiet without windows, despite occasional shaking when a lorry passed by. The dampness in the rooms was noticeable, similar to our experiences in Costa Rica. The street noise outside was greatly reduced due to the lack of windows.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms provided a very private and quiet experience, despite feeling a bit damp, which seems common in Costa Rica. The lack of windows helped reduce the loud street noise, although there was occasional shaking when a lorry passed by.
Service
8.0
The service was efficient and courteous, including room service, car hire, housekeeping, and laundry.
Location
6.0
The hotel is centrally located, close to the bus station we arrived at from the airport and convenient for exploring the downtown sights. However, the area can be busy and loud, lacking cleanliness.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was a bit disappointing as the food quality was poor, except for the smoked guinea fowl that made it a great deal. Breakfast was included and served early, but the options were limited.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel facilities were basic but sufficient for our needs during the stay.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were clean and well-equipped but suffered from noise due to a loud disco nearby on weekends. The location was convenient for accessing bus stations and downtown attractions, but the presence of a busy street outside meant choosing between natural light and peace and quiet.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms, though clean and stocked with plenty of towels and soap, were quite small without windows, making it feel cramped at times. Despite this, they were maintained to a high standard compared to other options in San Jose.
Service
8.0
The service was satisfactory, offering standard amenities like room service, car hire, housekeeping, and laundry. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location was a mixed bag. It was very near various bus stations, making travel convenient and about a 10-minute walk from the central avenue and downtown sights. However, the presence of a loud disco around the corner on weekends could be bothersome.
Dining
7.0
The dining options here were adequate, with well-prepared local dishes despite some limitations in variety. The quality surpassed that of more expensive hotels we've visited.
