My stay at the hotel had its highs and lows. The location was excellent, right next to Presidio Park and close to the highways and Mission Valley Mall, but there were some cleanliness issues with the rooms and a leak in the bathroom that needed maintenance attention. The staff was a bit dismissive about the problems, although they tried to address them eventually.

The rooms smelled badly of smoke, and there were stained sheets, dirty carpet, and a serious leak in the bathroom. We had to ask for a spray at the office, but it didn't help much. On the bright side, the room did come equipped with a fridge and microwave.

The service was good overall, although we felt like the hotel should consider closing down for a while to get everything in order before reopening. There was a slight issue that needed fixing, and the staff seemed to imply that we were somehow at fault for it.
