Ibis Vientiane Nam Phu, Vientiane

I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms are compact and comfortable, well-maintained with helpful staff. The live music and karaoke from the bar in Nam Phu Square, which my room backed out onto, added a lively touch to the evenings. The location is fantastic, at the back of the property with easy access to local food options. However, the barking dogs and ventilation system could be a bit bothersome at times.

The hotel is ideally located with a good spot close to shops, museums, and night markets. The rooms were lower level and very noisy, but clean, and in a supposedly quiet area of the building. The service was outstanding, with staff always greeting us warmly and going above and beyond to assist with various needs. The dining experience was good and well presented, although some items ran out before the official end time. Overall, a convenient location with exceptional service.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the location was excellent, being very central in Vientiane and close to the main part of town and the night market, my room didn't meet my expectations. It was always dark, noisy at night due to live music from the bar in Nam Phu Square, and not as described compared to other Ibis hotels I've stayed in.
