Isla Verde Hotel, San Jose (San Jose)

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were really nice, of a higher class, but just note that my room was right under the laundry area, leading to some noise from carts throughout the day and early evening. Despite that, they were comfortable. The service was outstanding, with the staff being wonderful, very helpful, and always courteous. The location, while close to the US embassy in a safe neighborhood, wasn't the most convenient for exploring San Jose. The dining experience exceeded my expectations, with a delicious breakfast showcasing local dishes and fresh fruit. The facilities were well-maintained and offered various amenities.

However, the location was a little far from attractions, and the TV screen in the room had an annoying manufacturer advertisement we couldn't remove.
