Although the staff were fighting among each other upon check-in, the rooms inside were good and clean. The service was exceptional, and the food quality was excellent. However, the mildew smell in the room persisted even after the air conditioning unit replacement, which was disappointing.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room was not as clean or comfortable as I had hoped, with hairs on the carpet and even pizza crumbs in the bathroom, but it did cool down quickly. The staff had a mix of friendliness and unprofessional behavior, with some being nice and funny, while another employee seemed rude and acted like they owned the place. The location was perfect for our needs, being close to downtown and the Alamodome, although it was a bit messy at times. The dining experience was sufficient but not exceptional, with some traditional dishes available. Overall, the value for money was decent, but the hotel itself felt a bit run-down and old.
