Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience. The rooms were bright, extremely comfortable, and spacious, offering a lovely small balcony to relax. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to meet all needs. The location, nestled next to the castle in the charming Alfama district, was simply gorgeous. Dining was top-notch with a great selection of food in a beautiful setting. However, guests with limited mobility might find it challenging due to the hotel's location in the narrow streets.

Wow, what a charming hotel! The rooms had some unique features such as the window seat overlooking the delightful courtyard with water features and roaming peacocks. They overlooked the castle grounds and were well cared for and thoughtfully decorated and furnished. Spacious by European standards.

The service was just SO lovely. From Joanna to Salvador, Aleques, and Paula, everyone was friendly and helpful. Being right next to the castle in a quiet neighborhood added to the charm and uniqueness of the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming and accommodating.
