Residence Inn Long Beach Downtown, Long Beach

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and nice, and I was so impressed that I even left a tip for the housekeeping staff. The service was friendly and attentive, although there was a small hiccup with the windows being left open upon check-in. The location was extremely convenient for exploring Long Beach, with easy access to the Queen Mary and the Carnival cruise ship terminal. The dining experience was top-notch, although the French toast was a letdown. Overall, a great value for money with some minor quirks.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely perfect. The rooms with a harbor view were excellent, offering a great view and everything needed for a 2+ night stay. The service was wonderful, although they need to address the issue with the windows for guest safety. The location, while a little odd overlooking port container cranes, was great for walks and had proximity to key attractions. The dining experience was my favorite with plenty of options for everyone. Overall, a fantastic stay worth the value.

I was a bit disappointed with the room as I paid for a Direct Ocean View but ended up with a view of the parking lot and cargo area, which was not pleasant. However, the room itself was spotless, and having a kitchen was a great deal for the price. The service was not as accommodating, but they did offer to move us to a new room when we found bed bugs. The location was perfect for me, close to Pike Outlets and Queen Mary. The dining options were limited, with just frozen breakfast sandwiches available. Overall, a somewhat mixed experience but with some positive aspects.
