8.0/10
The hotel was very nice overall, although the rooms need some updating, especially with grouting issues in the shower that made it unsafe. The shower itself was top-notch despite the mold presence.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms probably need a little updating. I found an issue with the tile that resulted in me cutting my toe, but the shower was exceptional for a 5-star experience.
Service
9.0
The service was excellent and very helpful; the staff were always friendly and accommodating, ensuring a spotless room that I would definitely recommend.
Location
8.0
The location was really good, allowing easy access to all of Dublin and providing a short walk to the city center. The proximity to public transport, especially the Airlink 747 bus, was a major convenience despite some noise issues.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience was nice with tasty and plentiful options, suitable for a typical hotel breakfast.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were up to the appearance expected from a quality hotel, and the value for money was reasonable considering the amenities offered.

6.0/10
The hotel had some drawbacks, like being noisy due to nearby trains and feeling hot at night. It was also quite expensive because of the Punchestown weekend. However, once inside, the service made up for any reception shortcomings in friendliness and helpfulness.
Rooms
5.0
The noise from the trains made it hard to sleep, and it felt hot during the night. The cleaning of the rooms was ongoing. The price seemed high for what was offered, especially during Punchestown weekend.
Service
6.0
The staff were available once inside the hotel but seemed a bit hesitant and untrusting, making the experience less welcoming. However, they were still helpful and accommodating when needed.
Location
7.0
The location was acceptable, with proximity to bus stations and the airport bus stop despite some rundown surroundings. It was a bit of a walk to the main tourist areas like O'Connell Street.
Dining
5.0
The dining setup was divided, with hot food and drinks in separate rooms, which was a bit inconvenient. The presentation of the food was lacking in aesthetics.
Facilities
5.0
It seems like a standard offering without any exceptional features.
