Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, especially those with access to the Club Millesime lounge, were new and very comfortable, making it convenient for my visit to the NECC. However, there was a significant issue with a strong smell of raw sewage in my room. The service was friendly and attentive overall, with a few instances of overpricing for transport. The location, although a bit challenging for taxi drivers, was close to the Exhibition area and train station but far from Shanghai downtown. The dining experience was excellent with a variety of options, both Western and Chinese, available for a reasonable price. The facilities were generally modern and well-equipped, though a room's sewage smell overshadowed the positives.
