I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were somewhat hit or miss, being at the end of the hall without neighbors above me was a plus, but the lingering smell of cigarette smoke was a big downside that no amount of air freshener could fix. The service was decent, with a clean hotel, great amenities like the pool and workout room, and a perfect breakfast, though I had to negotiate for a discount on my room for it to feel fair. The location had its challenges with a difficult access, lack of lights, and an industrial area nearby, but it was convenient for my visit to Ohio State University. The facilities were satisfactory for the most part, especially with a focus on cleanliness in both rooms and public areas.

My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The room I initially received on the first floor had a musty and damp smell, but the front desk promptly switched me to a spacious, very clean room that appeared pet-free. The price could have been more reasonable considering the initial room conditions.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get to all parts of Columbus, but the area felt very sketchy, especially at night. The service was outstanding, with staff going out of their way to ensure my comfort. Despite the cleanliness issues in the rooms due to cigarette smoke and a tendency to get hot, the presence of essential amenities like an iron, hairdryer, microwave, and a nice-sized mini-fridge was appreciated. The dining experience varied from decent options like waffle makers and rolls to warm sausages that should have been refrigerated. The facilities were satisfactory overall.
