Don't be fooled by this one's website; the location is fantastic, a short walk from the train station and a good starting point to go anywhere in Newquay.

The hotel's location is perfect, next to the beach and with restaurants right on the doorstep. The rooms are spacious enough but could use a little updating. The service was excellent, and the staff are amazing. The dining experience ranged from self-service with a great selection to personal touches like singing happy birthday. Parking is very close, ideal for everything you could want in central Newquay.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though a bit dated, were clean and conveniently located near the beach. However, the lack of towel changes and an unpleasant smell from the bath mat were drawbacks.
