My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were not up to date and had some cleanliness issues with dog biscuits and a cockroach, but on the bright side, they were spacious. The strong chemical smell was a downside though.

The hotel felt like a home away from home with apartment-style rooms that had a fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, and a living area with barbecue grills. However, the room overlooked the pool area, which, while a great view, was quite loud during the day. The rooms need a bit of tender loving care like paint and plaster, and though they seemed recently renovated, they still felt a bit outdated and cramped, possibly due to low ceilings.

The hotel has great access to everything in town, including fast food places within walking distance, and a Ruby Tuesday. It was perfect for my business travels and conveniently close to Walmart, good places, and Carowinds amusement park, all within a short distance. The location near the airport, yet in a nicer area than immediate airport surroundings, was a bonus.
