St Bernards, Newquay (Cornwall)

As soon as I stepped in, I felt welcomed and right at home. The room had all the amenities I needed, from toiletries to even a handy umbrella at the entrance. However, the top-floor location meant some noise from the traffic and revellers if the window was open, and the shower cubicle was quite cramped and stuffy. The service was exceptional, with thoughtful touches like a bottle opener and a very friendly and welcoming staff. The location, just off the main road near a busy intersection, was convenient for exploring the town but still quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful stay.

The hotel is a great little end-of-day haven a short walk away from the main strip, offering lovely rooms with modern amenities like a fantastic hairdryer, powerful hot shower, lots of drawers, and a big wardrobe. The service is exceptional, with the convenience of pre-ordering for the next morning and delightful, welcoming staff. The location is ideal, near the main shopping center and beaches, but with some concerning elements in the surrounding area. The dining experience is delicious and freshly prepared daily. The facilities are well-maintained and cater to guests' needs.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the center of Newquay, just a stone's throw away from the high street. The rooms are immaculate, albeit with a slightly odd sink location, and the service is extremely polite and accommodating. Despite the run-down surroundings, the facilities are fantastic, with a great dining experience featuring a good Vegetarian option each morning.
