My stay at the hotel was a mix of comfort and noise issues. The rooms were clean and well-equipped but had a noisy AC fan that made it challenging to sleep. The lack of sheer shades let in intense afternoon sun. The hotel's location in the Gaslamp area is great for exploring the town on foot.

Even though I requested an early check-in, the hotel made us wait far from the entrance, but once inside, the room surprised me as it was wide enough for two kids and two adults, bigger than I expected.

I had a really nice stay at the Westin. The room was comfy and clean with all the Westin signature features, although it showed a bit of wear in some areas. The view from the room was fantastic. The service was top-notch, super friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for exploring San Diego, right in the heart of the action. The dining options were overall good, but breakfast could have had more variety. The facilities met my expectations.
