The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives in my experience. The rooms didn't smell like smoke, which was a relief. Being halfway down the side of the building meant less highway noise, a definite advantage. However, the check-in process was quite slow, taking almost an hour.

The location was not what I had expected. It seemed to have a lot of crime and drug activity nearby, making me feel uneasy. On a positive note, there was an incredible Mexican restaurant nearby, which was a delight.

The dining options were a bit limited, with not much variety. However, the continental breakfast offered was satisfactory, including fruits, hard-boiled eggs, cinnamon bites, coffee, and juice.

The facilities were in need of some maintenance. Baseboards were coming off the walls, there were small holes in the walls, and the shower drain did not function properly, which was a bit inconvenient.

The hotel had a nice and cold room when we arrived, clean with a few wall stains but nothing unexpected. There were several flies inside, but the staff kindly changed us to the first floor to accommodate my elderly disabled mom. However, the check-in process was lengthy and frustrating.
