The hotel had some issues with the rooms, like the restroom supplies not being stocked up and an initial unpleasant smell that needed the air conditioner to improve. The shower area and bathroom floors had broken tiles and noisy, uneven floors. The hallways were in rough shape, with laminate carpets coming off and an elevator in poor condition. The lobby and hallways carried unpleasant odors, showing signs of aging. However, renovations were ongoing on the pool and second-third floors.

The hotel room, which was a suite with a pull-out bed, ended up being a little smaller than I expected. When the motel was full, it had a slight smell of urine, so I had to keep the A/C on or the window open to circulate the air. The service was really subpar; the open table was rude, no hotel shuttle available when needed, and there were unsettling encounters with other guests by the pool and a homeless person outside our room. Even the breakfast was substandard and unhappy due to an unexpected charge for my service dog. On the bright side, the location, right off I-25, was convenient to our destinations.

The hotel's rooms had a mix of good and bad aspects. There were many lights and interesting decorations like paintings and mirrors which made the room look decent but it was lacking a refrigerator and a proper place for soap in the shower. Unfortunately, some rooms needed major repair work, evident in issues like a drooping wall from leaks by a window.
