My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room I had on the 2nd floor was quite spacious and clean, even before the official check-in time, which was a great start. However, the room didn't have a heater or didn't heat enough, making it quite cold at times.

The staff needs customer service education, as they were rude, self-righteous, and less than helpful; however, the attention from a housekeeper was extraordinarily friendly, courteous, and helpful. The location was secluded, forcing guests to use their restaurant, with unfriendly staff and a building that looked like it hasn't been remodeled in 50 years. The dining experience was not running during my stay with no explanation, and the hot water problem was not a concern. Buttermilk biscuits in the restaurant were a turn-off.
