Rio Hotel, Macau

The hotel had spacious rooms that were adequate for our family of four, featuring nice counter space, a big bed, and lovely bay windows with cushioned seats. However, the service was lacking, with incompetence noted in addressing multiple issues during check-in and among staff members like those at the door and concierge, which affected vegetarians. The location, while close to the ferry pier for convenience, was not central to major attractions. The dining experience was average, failing to meet the expectations of a 4-star hotel, but the facilities were satisfactory.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotless, modern, and spacious - just what I needed. The service was top-notch with every staff member being helpful and nice. The location was perfect, right between the Ferry terminal and the old town, making it super convenient to get around. The dining options were good, especially for Asian cuisine, although I would have liked to see more variety. Overall, a fantastic choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Upon arrival, the room was not ready, but overall, it was good with a nice amenity kit for the price. The tea/coffee making amenities were a nice touch. The Filipino staff was accommodating and welcoming with smiling faces, although some were not as attentive as desired. The location was accessible to public transportation and within walking distance of tourist attractions. The dining options were below expectations, lacking variety and proper communication. Overall, the hotel offers a decent stay with some areas for improvement.
