The George Street Hotel, Sydney

I stayed with my family for a night, not far from the airport. The room was a bit dodgy and didn't feel very safe. However, the common room had a bad smell of cigarettes. The location was great for us, and I was pleased that there was a fan in the room as it did get a bit stuffy. It's centrally located near World Trade Square between Central & Town Hall stations, right on George St For a cheap and easy place, this is definitely a top spot in the heart of the city.

The hotel was okay for a private room without a view, available on 27th September. It was satisfactory and suitable as a place to sleep in central Sydney. The location is perfect for tourists, near Chinatown train station, making it very comfortable to get around. However, it was a little noisy outside, but nothing unmanageable.

The hotel felt a bit like a prison cell with only a bed, grey walls, and bars on the window, but it was convenient and close to everything on George Street. The dining experience was amazing, suitable for someone with a different schedule and who wants to surf the internet after 10 or have breakfast before 8. However, the rooms needed functional curtains, secure windows, and a coat of paint, making them feel small and capsule-like.
