My stay at the hotel had its highs and lows. The rooms were quite smelly due to smoke lingering from guests not following the non-smoking policy and the noise levels were bothersome. However, the service was friendly and helpful, despite a bit of confusion with the building layout late at night. The location, though convenient for airport travelers, showed signs of lack of maintenance. The dining experience was decent, although the breakfast area needed more attention. Overall, it was a mixed experience with some good and some not so great aspects.

The location was convenient, with easy access to the freeway and close to downtown Detroit but unfortunately, the room placement was less than ideal due to noise disturbances and blocked emergency exits. On the bright side, the facilities were satisfactory, making the stay somewhat balanced.

The hotel was extra big and cozy, perfect before our flight for our cruise. However, the rooms are not very soundproof, so we could easily hear the planes, traffic, and people around. The bathroom fixtures were stained, and the peeling wallpaper made it look less clean.
