I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, and the grounds were beautiful, giving off a vibe like the dungeon of a castle - dark but HUGE and completely unexpected based on the exterior. The service was very helpful in making taxi and other arrangements for us, and the location felt like our own secluded spot nestled in the mountains above Escazu. The dining was very good, and the pool area was a highlight. Overall, excellent value for money.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room wasn't as clean as I would have hoped, and it overlooked a parking lot, which was a bit damp and not too charming. On the bright side, the room itself was nice with a comfortable bed, TV, good shower, and kitchen facilities.

I was pleasantly surprised by the charming and spacious rooms, reminiscent of a castle's dungeon with beautiful old wooden furnishings. The huge bedroom featured an extra bed and a kitchen area, all impeccably clean. The hotel offers great service and comfort, making me eager to return to Costa Rica. The location, though secluded, is convenient either by taxi or a leisurely walk to town. While the dining experience was mixed, the hotel's facilities and amenities were impressive.
