Staying at the hotel felt like being in the middle of nowhere, situated right under the flight path for Bristol airport. The room had a creaky ambiance with a really bad mattress on a small so-called double bed, lacking basic furniture like a wardrobe or even a chair. I had to hang my clothes on the bathroom door and on the floor, and it was within the main building next to Forge.

I was offered mobile homes in the car park instead of the expected farmhouse B+B. The room was basic but clean, though it felt a bit damp and vulnerable. The service was friendly but had some oversight in health and safety. The location was convenient near the airport but up a bumpy road. The dining options were limited to cereal boxes and milk. Overall, it was not the experience I had anticipated.
