My stay was pleasant overall, with a few ups and downs. The room I had offered a nice bay view from a high floor, but it was a bit small. However, the service was friendly despite a minor safety concern. The location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions, although cleanliness could be improved in some areas. The dining experience had its highs and lows, but the facilities were adequate.

My room was in the tower on a high floor, and it had a nice bay view. The floor-to-ceiling sliding door onto the balcony with two chairs was a nice touch, although the trees obstructed some of the view outside. I later switched to a supposedly 'nicer' room, 244, which turned out to be an ocean view but a handicap accessible room.

The service was pleasant overall. There was a slight delay in providing a heater, and there was a safety issue with the sliding glass door in my room, especially with a toddler around. Despite this, the staff was attentive, and pet amenities were available.

The hotel's location was convenient, being close to Interstate 5 and downtown. The surroundings were beautiful, overlooking the water and Fiesta Island, and it was a peaceful area away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. I also had a lovely unexpected act of kindness from Annie Huynh. However, the hall floors in the villas could use more attention to cleanliness.

The dining experience had its highlights and drawbacks. I enjoyed an amazing eggs benedict with a crab cake instead of ham, and there was a great cafe for a continental breakfast. However, the quality was subpar compared to other Hilton properties, and the prices for meals at the resort were high.
