Hotel Del Coronado, Curio Collection By Hilton, San Diego

Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although not as nice as the Victorian part, were clean. However, they were small and not very attractive for the high cost, and our room wasn't ready at the expected time in the afternoon.

I had a bit of a mixed experience at this hotel. On one hand, the room we ended up in was lovely, but it wasn't the one we initially booked due to some construction hassle. The location right on the beach was fantastic, but the noise from the ongoing construction was a big downside.

The rooms are of good size and the bedding is comfortable, but some maintenance issues like broken bathroom light sensor and thermostat were present. The service was a mixed bag, with some staff being extremely rude while others seemed helpful and friendly. The dining experience was a bit slow, but the food quality was excellent. Overall, the hotel has some shortcomings but makes up for it with its location.

The hotel is full of character with charming rooms, though some noise from the elevator and slamming doors disturbed my stay. The service varied from fresh tablecloths delivered by room service to uninterested staff responses. The location provided a mix of fantastic amenities and less appealing views. The dining experience fell short in some aspects but offered decent options. While the facilities were adequate, the noise disrupted my relaxation.
