I had a pretty decent stay at Premier Inn Southend Airport, especially since it's super close to the airport, just a quick five-minute drive. The breakfast was a total win-hot and fresh, just what I needed before catching my flight. However, my room felt pretty outdated, with no sign of those refurbished ones I had heard about. Overall, it was a solid pick for a night before an early flight, but I really hope they update those older rooms soon.
