My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The room I stayed in was clean and nice, but there were issues with the door not shutting properly, and the front desk wanted me to pay for a whole new room when I inquired about switching. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster - check-in was kinda nice, but overall, there was a lack of concern for guest comfort from some staff members, especially in the cafe. The location was convenient for early morning flights out of Detroit airport, but the lack of helpfulness from the airport shuttle service was noticeable. The dining offered exceptional and delicious food, especially the Japanese cuisine, although the open dining area by the pool wasn't the most pleasant setting. The hotel had good facilities, but there were moments that did not meet expectations.
