Staying on the 3rd floor, our room could use some updating but was very clean. We did, however, notice Black Mold in our apartment. While the service was exceptionally friendly and made efforts to address issues, they ignored our complaint about someone entering our room while we were in bed. The hotel was under construction, yet conveniently near shopping and restaurants, which was great for our overnight stop on the way to Myrtle Beach. The dining was a mix; some days excellent, some just ok, with a bit of a skimpy continental style, although enough to suffice. Despite the issues, the homemade pastries were a highlight.
