4-star family-friendly hotel with a historic Victorian wing and on-site spa
Accommodations
The hotel is a fusion of Old World charm and New World style, featuring Ditchley House, a Victorian building dating back to the nineteenth century. Guests can choose from a range of family accommodations tailored for different group sizes, including Business Rooms with additional bunk beds. The hotel nestles on 9 acres of landscaped grounds with a tree-lined entrance and offers 300 car parking spaces.
Family & Children
Children receive a little explorers bag upon arrival and can enjoy a dedicated kid's menu in the restaurant. The hotel has a children's playground behind the building and a kids' pool as part of the leisure facilities. Babysitting and child services are available for families who need time to explore on their own.
Leisure
The on-site retreat spa has a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room, and a fitness center with personal trainers available. Guests have access to an indoor swimming pool and a hot tub/Jacuzzi with high-pressure jets, though swim caps are required in the pool. Yoga classes and fitness/spa locker rooms are part of the wellness offerings at the hotel.
Dining
The Brasserie restaurant serves local cuisine with a focus on fresh ingredients, and the on-site coffee house offers pastries and seating. The bar stocks Murphy's stout on draught and provides a snack bar and special diet menus upon request. A large ballroom accommodates up to 500 guests, often hosting weddings and events that add a festive atmosphere to the property.
Location
The hotel is located in Little Island, just 10 minutes' drive from Cork city centre and Cork International Airport, with a railway station a 5-minute walk away. Business facilities include a business centre, meeting/banquet facilities, and an invoice provided for corporate guests.
