The hotel had rooms that were out of date in terms of the lobby and the floor-to-ceiling windows provided access to what could have been a spectacular view. However, the check-in area was not in great shape. The service, despite costing $75.00 for car retrieval that I had parked myself, never moved from the airline check-in table. On a positive note, the service staff, especially with our service dog, was very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, allowing me to walk from arrivals to the hotel without going outside and being crucial during a Chicago blizzard with many flight cancellations. The dining experience, priced slightly high, included scrambled eggs but didn't meet my expectations. When it comes to facilities, there were some additional unexpected charges, like $16.50 to use the gym not advertised during booking.
