Decent Stay with a Few Hiccups

blocked shower steep prices

The lack of nearby places to get snacks was annoying, especially since the hotel food prices felt a bit steep. the shower was a bit of a letdown. It was partially blocked, so water pooled around my feet-not the most pleasant experience. I told reception, but the only option was a room swap, which I didn't want to do after a long trip.

high temperature faulty shower door

The gym had sufficient equipment for a basic workout. It included treadmills.

The room temperature was centrally controlled. I could not lower it below 23.5c! i found this unacceptably high and the staff stated that there were multiple complaints about it. additionally, the shower door did not close properly. I had to hold it to prevent water from going everywhere.

Fantastic Stay Near the NEC!

cool style friendly reception modern equipment excellent range

The reception staff checked me in quickly and even offered a free welcome drink. My room had modern equipment plus complimentary snacks and drinks, like Pringles and chocolate fingers. I liked the automatic under-bed lighting that activated when I got up at night. Breakfast included an excellent range of options.

The room was quite warm. The air conditioning didn't seem to work well.

The hotel's location proved convenient, especially attending an event at the NEC! It was only a short walk. The staff members were cheerful and helpful, always ready with a smile. I found the room modern, clean, and well-kept. The welcome drink was a lovely touch, a nice way to start my stay.

I noticed the selection of drinks at the bar was somewhat limited.

i found the staff very cute and helpful with my allergy questions, which i appreciated. they helped me figure out what was safe for me to eat at breakfast. i was able to have a good breakfast because of their help. the gluten free options were excellent.

the walk from the car park felt long after arriving late.
