hot options fresh pastries
the breakfast was excellent! i liked the hot options available and the fresh pastries. the hotel is also next door to woodlands, GREAT for an afternoon walk

Decent but Dated Stay
poor soundproofing uncleaned mug
The soundproofing was not great. I could hear noise from other rooms and the hallway. This disrupted my sleep. The bathroom felt old and needed some updating. I found some mould. One of the mugs had not been cleaned properly. I saw old coffee stains.

a romantic stay near the runway
lovely room national trust land surrounding trees
I adored the tranquility i found there. The surrounding trees offered a sweet embrace from the world. the room was lovely, it had a kettle and an iron, perfect for a little home away from home. i was also quite happy because i was able to take leisurely strolls along the bollin, admiring national trust land.

broken air conditioning worn-out springs
the breakfast was spot-on (i really liked the bacon).
the air conditioning did not work at all. it was really disappointing especially since the weather was hot. the bed felt quite old with worn-out springs. the room was small, and i could hear every single noise coming from the adjacent rooms.

huge tv friendly staff
The room was great and modern. It included a huge tv, a nice surprise!!! The staff were friendly and cute, providing excellent service.

basic stay with issues.
faulty toilet out of sync
The toilet in my room didn't flush properly. staff told me to just keep flushing, but it made a loud, disruptive noise all night. also, the tv was unwatchable. The sound and picture were constantly out of sync. it really ruined the experience..
