mixed experience due to noise and heating issues

cold roomheating control
the room was far too cold upon arrival it felt freezing. the vented heating is controlled by reception and they seem to turn it off when you're not there. when i went back to reception after realizing my room was cold again i was told they are an 'eco friendly hotel'. i also woke to a freezing room in the morning as the heating goes off again in the night it wasn't very pleasant at all.

Fantastic Stay Near Gatwick

The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom had excellent water pressure, a great feature. Parking was simple and reasonably priced at £15 per night. I felt this was fair. The staff were helpful, which really enhanced my stay.

the staff were friendly and the hotel was clean on arrival.
the room was too cold upon arrival i learned the heating is controlled by reception turning off the heating in my room while i was downstairs was not hospitable i woke up to a freezing room in the morning i also note they do not have key card slots.

the room was very modern and super clean. a large tv allowed connection for watching shows after travel. gatwick airport is close approximately a five-minute drive reached by shuttle or bus. the staff were very friendly.
the restaurant seemed understaffed and some meal options were quite expensive.
